These Terms of Service govern your use of HeyItsMe. By accessing or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use HeyItsMe.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be able to form a binding agreement to use HeyItsMe. If you use the service for someone else or an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms on their behalf. Keep your account information accurate, current, and secure, and do not share access to your account or use another person's account without permission.

Your profile and content

You are responsible for the information, media, links, embeds, and other content you add to your profile. You retain ownership of your content. You grant HeyItsMe a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide right to host, store, process, reproduce as needed for technical delivery, and display that content solely to operate and maintain the service and your profile.

You must have the rights and permissions needed to upload or share your content. Do not post unlawful, harmful, abusive, deceptive, infringing, or otherwise inappropriate material. Do not impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity, work, affiliation, or authority.

Public profiles and third-party content

Profiles that you make public may be viewed without an account, shared by others, and indexed by search engines. You are responsible for choosing what to make public. Links and embedded content can lead to third-party services, including services that control their own content and policies. HeyItsMe is not responsible for those third-party services or their content.

Moderation and enforcement

We may review media and other content and may limit visibility, remove content, suspend, deactivate, or terminate accounts when we reasonably believe this is necessary to operate the service, protect people, comply with law, or enforce these Terms. We may also remove or restrict content that does not meet our moderation standards.

HeyItsMe intellectual property

HeyItsMe and its software, branding, design, and other service materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited right to use the service under these Terms, no rights in those materials are granted to you.

Service availability and changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of HeyItsMe as the product evolves. We aim to keep the service available, but it may be unavailable from time to time and is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, HeyItsMe is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, opportunities, goodwill, or profits arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Account deletion and changes to these Terms

You can request account deletion from your profile settings. Your account is deactivated immediately and can be reactivated by signing in within 30 days. Reactivation cancels the pending deletion. If you do not reactivate during that period, your account and associated data are permanently deleted after 30 days. We may update these Terms as the service changes. The updated Terms will be posted here with a revised “Last updated” date; continued use after that date means you accept the updated Terms.
